Our Philosophy

It is our goal to get friends, family and loved ones back to the table around fresh, wholesome, well prepared food – and now our table includes you. Most of our meat is locally sourced, hormone & antibiotic free. Our dried goods, (beans, pasta, rice, flour, sugar) are organic. We source fresh produce from local growers & producers when in season. We cook all of our meals from 'scratch'.

Bringing it Home

Our commitment to getting people "back to the table" starts at home and extends to our community through a number of philanthropic endeavours.

Our sense of community stems from our belief that it is impossible to ignore the connection between our environment and the food we eat. In our daily lives we have explored the wonderfully diverse selection of produce that is available from farmers and small family enterprises in this Region. Because "fast food" is so easily accessible, these people face an up-hill challenge in getting their produce to your table. The demands of a fast-paced society afford little time to seek out local food.

Community Involvement

As members of our neighbourhood, our city and our world, we feel a responsibility to contribute to the health and well-being of ourselves and those around us.

The most effective and immediate way for us to achieve this is by making every effort to buy food supplies from local producers in our region who grow delicious food in ecologically friendly ways.

We participate actively in our communities, and donate food to a few specific organizations and community events where we have an opportunity to feed quality food to those in need, or those at an age where their tastes can still be influenced.

Dietary Restrictions

Please be advised that we cannot guarantee that products used in the preparation of our dinners have not been in contact with nuts or nut products.

While all red apron dinners are prepared from the most nutritious food products available, we are unable to offer meals that meet the dietary restrictions of people with specific food allergies or dietary programs.
