Currently, we are hiring a Part-Time Retail & Merchandising Associate.

Retail & Merchandising Associate (Part Time and Full Time)

As a Retail & Merchandising Associate, you are the heartbeat of our shop. This role combines high-level customer service with the physical “behind-the-scenes” work that keeps our shelves beautiful and our inventory moving. You’ll be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere, managing stock, and ensuring every customer feels welcome, is well served, and leaves with some delicious food.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Excellence: Provide warm, knowledgeable service. Multi-task between assisting customers, answering questions, and processing transactions. The Customer Service experience is provided in person, by phone, and by email. 
  • Merchandising & Display: Use your creative eye to design and maintain visually stunning product displays that reflect our gourmet brand.
  • Inventory Management: Manage stock levels, restock, and organize the stockroom to ensure peak efficiency.
  • Physical Operations: Handle the heavy lifting. This includes receiving shipments, restocking items, and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor. Associates need to move quickly and efficiently between stations, up and down stairs, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with teammates to ensure smooth shift transitions and a positive work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience in retail or the food/hospitality industry is required. Experience in merchandising or inventory management is a significant plus.
  • Interpersonal Skills: You are a “people person” who stays calm and friendly under pressure.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs regularly.
  • Reliability: A proven track record of being punctual and dependable.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is a strong asset.

Availability: Must be able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week, including Saturday, and until 7pm weekdays, with the occasional need to work additional hours for special events and Holidays.
